What mattress is better than Saatva?
Founded in 2010, Saatva focuses on direct-to-consumer luxury bed mattress under 3 trademark name: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Between these 3 brand names, the company sells several bed mattress designs, including the all-foam Loom & Leaf;& Leaf; the latex Zenhaven; the airbed, Solaire; and the hybrid Saatva. Perfect for: People with more particular firmness choices Sleepers of any size and sleep position Those who tend to sleep hot Couples searching for a combination of pressure relief and bounce A lot of online mattresses are hybrids or foams, so the Saatva Classic sticks out. It’s one of the few innerspring mattresses you can conveniently purchase online. Pocketed coils offer the Saatva Classic an excellent quantity of bounce near the top, and a plush top adds softness. As with all of the Saatva Business’s bed mattress, the Saatva Classic is delivered by movers, rather than in a box. Saatva also uses a generous 180-day trial duration and simple returns.
Factors to consider: Saatva Donation Mattress
The Saatva’s convenience system utilizes thinner layers of foam than numerous hybrid designs. These thinner layers of foam combined with the Euro-top’s fiber fill absorb some motion, reducing how much motion is felt throughout the surface area of the bed. Sleepers might still experience some movement transfer when their partner modifications position or gets up during the night due to the bed mattress’s two layers of springs. Thanks to its softer feel, the Plush Soft variation of the Saatva absorbs slightly more motion than the Luxury Company and Company options. While all of the Saatva firmness alternatives have pressure-relieving capacity, the amount of pressure relief that an individual experiences on the bed mattress will differ based partially on their weight and sleep position. Individuals who weigh under 130 pounds will likely experience the most pressure relief on the Luxurious Soft variation of the mattress, while sleepers over 230 pounds will likely get the best balance of contouring and support from the Company variation.Note: Saatva recently updated the Zenhaven, changing the type of latex used in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now includes Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; read more about the distinctions below. We plan to test the brand-new variation quickly and will update this guide with our impressions.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaAjJvmj8zoThe all-foam Zenhaven consists mainly of latex, which is intrinsically durable. The Zenhaven is also flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Gentle Firm side feels a bit firmer), which may show practical if you’re unsure what you choose or if your needs alter gradually. This is not a traditionally soft mattress, but it provides a supple cushion, good edge assistance, and a subtle springiness. Given its natural sturdiness, the Zenhaven ought to work well for individuals who weigh more than 200 pounds.

For this review, I slept on the Saatva Classic, the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven mattresses for a number of weeks in my own house. These mattresses were also examined in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam mattresses and the best innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior staff author for sleep, I’ve interviewed scores of specialists in the bed mattress industry and in materials science; checked out dozens of bed mattress factories, stores, and showrooms; and read the fine print on specs, warranties, and return policies. Most just recently, monitoring editor Courtney Schley examined the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her home for several weeks.

We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brands. However we do understand that the business uses thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and only natural cotton (instead of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress companies, Saatva promotes such extras as zoned layers for “optimum spinal column support”; we’re less pleased with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer care and durable foams and coils.
